It seems that if you put !Trigger in the Trigger field of a disk based sample, and retrigger it from the VCS, that the sample stops playing and does not reset to playback from the beginning of the disk file, it just stops the playback head - its cool, but i'm sure it used to go back to the start...

Could you please provide more details on the parameter settings that cause this to happen? I have not been able to replicate using GenericSource Stereo Disk with 'SwS - 133 Flinch.aif', left and right channels checked, Autoloop (tried on/off), ReleaseTime (tried 0.1 and 3 s), !Trigger in the Trigger field.

Thanks!

Love the VCS!

It seems to be resetting to the beginning each time I press Cue.

If you would like it to play all the way through to the end each time, you could set the Release time of the GenericSource to something really long (like 1 h).

i have attached ( i think ) a small mp3 showing this behaviour - i'm just clicking on the CUE button ( i.e. reTriggering the disk based sample ) you can hear it not re-cueing ... odd ?

Mystery solved...
I had been testing your Sound in my copy of Kyma (which is actually the *next* release version, not the current version), and it works correctly in the upcoming release. Please check tweaky in about one hour for a fix.

Thanks!

Fixed via minor update available on Tweaky as of Wednesday, 19 September 2007 @ 20:30 GMT
(Not noted in tweaky, so you just have to go by the date and the time. Thanks!)
