So I could route internally the inputs/outputs of my sequencer through the capy (like the asio drivers). If so, would this be in the initial release, or an upgrade? Thanks!!! IP: Logged

terryrobinson0203 Member	posted 02 September 2003 05:06 Yeah, i too cant wait til dp 4.1 comes out...should be amazing! with au support! Yeah the i/o's should just show up in dp, and then just route them through. For instance, i would set the output of the relevant track to [capybara 01], and then kyma would have sequencer inputs that you can wire up. Then just add a sequencer output at the end, and set dp to record with the input set to [capybara 01]. or something like that.. As for compiling the kyma patch before hand I would have thought that this must be done as this is what uploads the patch to the capy, but we have to wait and see when kyma x comes out - would be cool to have automatic uploading, espicially now it runs w/ firewire. It would be nice though to record through the capy, I always prefer the sound outputs of it. I also have a motu thingy but capy just sounds so much warmer. Thanks!
