Hi,

I have a big sound that has some global controllers that are assigned in a custom global map. I decided to change the global map by keeping the names of some of the controllers the same, but changing the midi channels the global map expects to see the controllers coming in on.

The problem is, after having changed the midi channels of the controllers, the VCS of my sound still remembers the old channels and so doesn't see them coming in on the new channels. Is there a way to forcing the sound to forget the old channels and read the new ones from the new map?

thanks,
Phil

Phil,

Could you please email the Sound and the global map so that we can take a look at it?

Thanks!

Okay. I've figured out ways to fix the problems, but they feel like awkward work-arounds. I'll send you a couple of cut-down archived timelines and my questions...
