![]() ![]() ![]() Is there a way to make the CaptureDuration a Hot Value? Via a Script Sound or such like? IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() Depending on what you want to do, you might be able to get by by making the capture duration the longest you think you'll need, and at times when you want it to be shorter, retrigger the recording at a shorter time interval. Or, in the sample module that you're playing it back in, have it only play back the portion that you need. I've used separate memory writers with different settings to write into the same buffer before. Not at the same time, of course. PC IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() In some cases you can use the start and end loop parameters of the Sample. For example, if the CaptureDuration on the MemoryWriter were 10 s, then you could set the LoopEnd to be the ratio of the desired duration to the capture duration: !ActualDur / 10.0 Suppose you were using !Gate to control when the recording. Then you could use something like this: !Gate durationOfGate / 10.0 in the LoopEnd field to get whatever proportion of the full 10 s you had actually recorded. IP: Logged |
