Is there any possibility that running java j2se 5.0 instead of the typical java 1.4, under 10.4.8 would have any impact on the behaviour of the capybara.

i had an incredible oddity - the capy would not input audio via any of the inputs / 1-4 analogue nor the digital. i removed all physical connections and rebooted ( twice) thinking there must have been some signal present during the initialization/ calibration of kyma - (btw the software would output audio normally ) even hard patching from the instrument was not succesful even though signal was definetly present anywhere else i input it to.

i have solved the problem by trashing the kyma software file and redownloading.

i realize it is probably unlikely but that is the only item that i can think of that is different.

thanks

rafe

i was hasty in my first post, i rebooted and reinstalled and the digital input worked fine and therefor thought i had solved the problem but now i attempted to use the analogue input with no luck??

There is no connection to Java so something else must be going on. Please send us an email with more details so we can help.
