![]() ![]() ![]() I am going to need to travel via commercial airline with my Kyma system. I don't have an official carrying case ... nor do I envision needing to do this again anytime soon, so I'm not really in the market for getting a flight case, if I can help it. I *hope* that I can carry it on in lieu of luggage, probably in a suitcase ... or maybe the official Capy soft case. hopefully someone here has some experience traveling by air with a Kyma system. Do you every have a problem these days getting clearance to board a plane with a Capybara as carry-on luggage? I have nightmares of something like this .... Security guard: "You say it's a musical instrument, eh? OK ... play us a tune on it..." IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() i have traveled carry-on with a skb case. security hasn't been an issue at all. in fact the motormix in my other bag usually gets the question. i have gotten a look or two from the flight crews however, though no one has actually said a word (just some wide eyes or a double takes). not sure i would travel without a case of some sort, the sync adaptors stick out a bit much for my liking, but the prospect of getting something in the IO plugs.
