Author | Topic: !KeyTimbre problems in Kyma Control |

![]() ![]() ![]() I'm using Kyma Control via Delora KymaConnect and can't seem to get !KeyTimbre controls to work. After I noticed the problem in my own sounds, I tried with a few example sounds from the library and I have the same problem. Ideal solution would be for my bank balance to magically increase sufficiently to allow the purchase of a Continuum, but for now a fix for Kyma Connect would be great. Anybody encountered this problem before? Thanks! IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() quote: I just tested with a handful of the library/demo sounds that have "KeyTimbre" in their title and it appears to be working using KymaControl through KymaConnect. One thing to check is in the Kyma MIDI set up what you have "KeyTimbre" assigned to If it is anything other than "none" then a MIDI CC can override what comes from KymaControl. So for example if it is assigned to "01", and you have a MIDI controller hooked up whose mod wheel is sending out stray values that will interfere. If you would like contact me directly at support@delora.com. I'd be happy to help you troubleshoot. ![]() ![]() ![]() Another thing you might double-check is that !KeyTimbre is present in the parameter fields of the Sounds you are playing. Not all of the keyboard-controlled examples make use of !KeyTimbre, so it is worth confirming. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() quote: Thanks for the responses guys. The sounds I'm using are definitely using !Keytimbre. Douglas, I just shot you an email. Cheers! IP: Logged |
