I'm stuck. I'm using this expression:

(!PenButton1 countTriggersMod: 5) eq: 4) nextRandom

But I want it to trigger a random number as soon as the patch is launched (the above expression would only trigger the nextRandom on launch if the test was eq: 0)

I can't think of a way to do it. If there were a way to get the clock time since the sound has launched, I could do a test to see if the clock time is less than say 0.015 seconds since launch and, if so, trigger nextRandom. I'm thinking there might be a way to get the time since launch, but I can't remember it...

Any ideas would be appreciated.

You could use !LocalTime. That's the time in seconds (without units) since the start of the Sound.
