![]() ![]() ![]() Hello! Ive made some polyphonic synth, and its working great. But if i put it into a timeline every x midi noteon event is missing. meaning after i compile there establishes a situation in wich the synth is for example reacting on the first two notes and misses one, then two reaktions again, and one note missing.. But ive had a variety of patterns already! One reaktion one miss/ five reations one miss, and so on. hm.. I can remember ive had a similar problem a couple of moths ago and didn't find a solution.. Kyma is definitly receiving the notes, since they show up in the midi preferences window.. I have a midivoice sound in this polysynth sound since i just want some part of it to be polyphonic, and the polyphony of the whole synth in the timeline is adjusted to one. I really dont understand, thanks for any help!!! Patrik IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() It sounds as if there might be a !KeyDown or other Key control outside MIDIVoice (possibly controlling an effect on a MIDIVoice?) If you don't see it, could you please attach your Sound to an email so we can try to find it? Thanks! IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() hey thanks for the hint! this brought me to a solution very quick. After reading your post I have checked for any midi-related stuff inside that sound.. Nothing. So i thought of isolating this and switched all other tracks in the timeline to other midichannels and voi lá! Je ne comprends pas.. I quite don't understand why that solved my problem, since in the other tracks there are no midivoice sounds or scripts or anything that should be able to alter the input of the synth.. I mean, 16 channels are alright..But I'd really like to understand. Should i send you the timeline(since i don't think the problem is within that particular sound) anyways? Or do you understand my mistake already? thank you very much! IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() Yes please send the Timeline by email so we can understand why it was not working before. Were the tracks all set to the same MIDI channel when it did not work? Thanks! IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() I too have suffered this phenomenon, not quite sure what I did to resolve it. I will be more vigilant and send it in if I can duplicate it. Charlie IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() In nearly all cases, this kind of voice-skipping behavior is caused by a !KeyTimbre or !KeyDown or !KeyPitch or !KeyVolume in the parameter field of a Sound to the right of your MIDIVoice... IP: Logged |
