Hello, I am a brand new user that just took delivery of a Pacarana this week.

I purchased a TC Electronics Konnect 24D as the interface and for the life of me I can not get the ADAT optical inputs working with the Pacarana. I am currently trying to pipe audio via lightpipe from my DAW to the Pacarana. The optical outputs are working fine and are audible in my DAW.

I apologize if this has been covered on the forum. I did try to search but I came up empty handed.

Any suggestions or tips would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Michael

As a note, the analog inputs work fine.

Can anyone confirm that the ADAT inputs on a TC Konnect 24D work with the Pacarana?

I checked and rechecked the configuration and believe it is correct.

Thank you.

We confirmed with Michael that the ADAT inputs are working by using a loop-back test (ADAT out-->ADAT in on the back of the TC). We also confirmed at Symbolic Sound that a MOTU 896 could be a source for ADAT signal and clock for the TC 24D.

Thanks Carla for all the help.

The issue was configuration in lightpipe routing and wiring in a fairly complex madi rig.

Carla, I moved the TC ADAT I/O to a different set of ADAT I/O (pair 5 verses pair 8) on the RME 648 and all is well. I have not figured out what the real routing issue was, but all is well now.

Thanks for the all the help and the loopback trick.

Michael.
