hi,
i've recently been experimenting with the DiskRecorder prototype. finally discovered it as a way to record sounds to disc while still having access to the VCS to change parameters... something which the "record to disc" menu command doeesn' allow.

anyway...

my question is this.... i see you can use a toggle to trigger the DiskRecorder to write its file. but, is there a way to increment files names, so you can keep triggering a record command while writing new successive files...

as i understand it now, if i retrigger the record function, it will keep writing over the same file on my hard drive... would be nice to have it keep making new files...

thanks
taylor

Take a look in Kyma Sound Library>Scripting>Scripts, a Sound called "Batch record Sounds to Disk files". This is a Script that shows how you could record several disk files in a row, each with a different name.
