uhhh, iīm getting nuts.
is there really no way to copy envelope values from one objekt to another?
i am about to do some absynth inspired sounds in kyma, which turns out to be quite, hm uneasy.
the absynth interface gives you lots of envelopes to be applied to any parameter you would like. you can see them above each other which is very helpfull in editing rhythmic patterns.

i now had the idea to try copying values from one timeline track to the other. but is far as i know it is still not possible to loop a certain section in the timeline, is it?

please help

You can't loop the timeline, but if you have a control function that you want to repeat, you could use the loopng transform button at the bottom of the timeline.

Hi Michael,
Couldn't you just drag a sound that has
the envelope you want and drop it into the
envelope parameter field you want to copy
into? I may be phrasing this wrong, but
I know there is (or was) a drag/drop/copy
matching field(s) function in Kyma.
As to looping in the timeline, couldn't you
accomplish the same effect using a waitUntil
sound?
cheers,
Bill

ok, i found a workaround for the copy problem.
i just wanted to use the same envelope but scale it differently in different places. it didnīt occur to me that this is simply be done by multiplying the whole envelope parameter, i guess i was sleepy.

BUT, i still have problems with the graphical interface of the drag&drop graphical envelope.
i canīt zoom into a certain time range which makes editing of komplex envelopes very difficult and unprecise. command+L also doesnt work - i hoped this would enlarge the envelope-grid.
i am now thinking of employing arrays, but then i loose the graphical representation which indeed is very helpfull(although it would be nice to place the graphical envelope in the VCS and edit it in realtime)
merry xmas!

Have you tried Zoom In from the Edit menu (Command+]) to zoom in in the graphical envelope?
