Author | Topic: Using motormix and sequencer to send MIDI CCs |

![]() ![]() ![]() Hi, I have been playing around with iPad Kyma Control and CapyLink but I am a bit stuck. It seems that once I set the Kyma preferences setting "External controller" to Motormix, I loose the ability to control the VCS using MIDI CCs sent from my sequencer (Cubase or Logic, always the same behaviour). I'm running Kyma 6.80 and tested 6.79 briefly. Is that supposed to happen? I can set the "External controller" preference back to Other, reset the DSP and then use MIDI CCs fine. But of course then Kyma Control isn't working! Is it really the case that I can control the VCS from either the Motormix or a sequencer, but not both at the same time? David IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() Hi, if you use an other MIDI Channel then 1 for you MIDI CCs it will work. Channel 1 is occupied by the Motormix if it is switched on in the preferences. This is my experience with a "hardware " motormix. All the best [This message has been edited by ChristianSchloesser (edited 15 May 2011).] IP: Logged |
