Hello!
I often use the "Constant" sound to perform small math stuff on control signals. It would be great if one could simply drag it into the signal flow, with the input automaticly written in the Value field!
Or is there a similary simple way to to this?
Thanks!

You can copy the Constant and paste it into the parameter field.

Hi Patrik

One get round would be to encapsulate a constant with the value field as ?Value+[mixer]L.
and make sure that the mixer module has a gain of zero. Also the mixer module should have a "Variable" sound (with Big "?"mark as the icon) as the only input to the mixer. You could call this new encapsulated sound "InsertableConstant".

When you drop this encapsulated sound into the middle of a bunch modules you would still need to paste the input sound into the value field by hand to make it do something but it would not drop the input modules off into oblivion before you had a chance to do so.

hope this makes sense

Pete

draggableConstant.kym

Here's a Constant that has a replaceableInput in its Value field. If you drag/drop it on the line just to the right of "sound-A", then "sound-A" will appear in the Constant's Value field.

Is that what you were describing?
