WaitUntilProblem.kym

Hi,

I seem to have run into a problem with the Wait Until module. In the attached file you'll see that I have two samples preceded by Wait Untils going into the same mixer. One Wait Until/Sample combination is set to launch on !PenDown, the other to launch on !KeyNumber eq: 60. Both work as expected when played from the individual Wait Until module. However, when played from the mixer, either Wait Until condition launches both samples.

Am I misunderstanding something about how this is supposed to work?

thanks,
Phil

PS. I know that I could do what I'm trying to do here better without the Wait Untils, just putting the conditions in the Samples' trigger fields, but I'm still wondering why this doesn't work.

You're right. Putting the conditions into the Samples' trigger fields would be the way to do this.

A WaitUntil stops the time counter on the Capybara, so it stops the flow of time for ALL sounds. Thus, when you resume the time counter, it resumes for both of your Samples.

Ahh. I was under the impression that Wait Until only affects the input sound (which is what the help file seems to suggest) - but now I see that it affects the timeclock as well, which is global. Thanks.
