In relation with my other post, now that I'm trying to use a different controller as the MotorMix (with its wonderful automatic mapping ;-), I find myself a bit confused with the different ways to assign midi cc's to parameters. So far, I understand there are three different ways to do it:

- using the global map
- using the VCS editor
- using the timeline

how does this work all together? Is only one way enough? What if settings are different for each of them? Is one overriding the others?

The VCS editor overrides the timeline which overrides the global map.
