![]() ![]() ![]() Hi, a new Kyma/Pacarana owner here having some setup problems... I bought a used Prosonus FireStudio to use with my Pacarana and I have that connected to my TC StudioKonnekt 48 that acts as my main audio interface via ADAT light pipe. After plenty of messing about I have it working, but only with the TC slaving to the FireStudio I would like my TC to be the clock master, but in the DSP Status window in Kyma X the Clock Source menu only has one option: internal. Can any one offer any advice? TIA! IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() Have you connected an ADAT cable from the TC output to the FireStudio input (in addition to the one from the FireStudio output to the TC input)? If the FireStudio does not have an ADAT input connected, it would not list that as an option. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() Thanks for your reply ![]() Yes, I have both ADAT in and out connected, I also tried sending the s/pdif out from the SK48 to the FireStudio s/pdif in, still nothing. Would Kyma X dynamically update the clocking options or do I need to restart it to refresh the options? Incidentally, before removing the drivers for the FireStudio from my computer I did have the FireStudio clocking from the SK48 over ADAT and working as expected so I don't think there is a hardware fault. Ho Hum. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() Well I am stumped with this, but it is not a show stopper. When I don't have the Pacarana/FireStudio powered up my TC just deals with it and clocks its self and when I power up the Pacarana and FireStudio after a few seconds it syncs up everything works, which is painless enough for me.
