So when should we expect, for us who were not able to go to kiss or to the event in New York, to get some info about the new kyma software ?

The anxiety is killing us

Can we see a little bit of video?
How about a screen shot! A new icon? Does it have a new GUI? Some new Algs? Some form of DAW direct connectivity? Record MIDI? OH BUT TOO MANY QUESTIONS.....

How completely thrilling and exciting.

Does anyone remember any comments from KISS? Even a vague hint of the timeline? Before Christmas?

Heheheh Sorry.

Charlie

There ought to be a "kymainsider.com" website which reports all the latest rumours and surreptitiously obtained screenshots of said new software

... or perhaps the periodical release of info/teasers, much like the release of photos by ESA of the Comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko to keep us all guessing.

So, with January just a few weeks away, can I be annoying and see if there is a date or indicative time range in January we can look forward to?

Any other info would be greatly appreciated

Merry Christmas all

I saw glimpses of what appears to be a modified Kyma UI in one of the videos from the presentations at the most recent KISS.

Dynamically resizing parameter fields, arranged in a column, positioned over to the right hand side of a sound editor window.

Looks interesting

Just wondering if the upcoming major update still works on the Capybara 320?

Sadly, the poor old Capy would have trouble keeping up with the new software. But please don't be too hard on him! He's like 119 years old in dog years, and he's been a loyal friend all these years. Maybe your Capy could retire but still work part-time as an audio interface for your new Paca(rana)?

Must say I'm looking forward to this… Will the new update be announced on this forum, or where is the best place to keep up to date with the latest info?

The Tweaky is the place to check.

Here:
http://www.symbolicsound.com/cgi-bin/bin/view/Know/KymaXUpdates

Or via the Kyma App/Help/Check for software updates
