Logging in today, I see that the App Store wants to offer me an OS X El Capitan upgrade. Too soon? Any problems being encountered? (I think I've read of folks having issues with various HID, but nothing more.)

I know Apoggee is no longer supporting the Ensemble I (Firewire) interface from El Capitan on, which is what I use as my Kyma interface, so that has given me pause. I haven't bothered to pursure it any further as I'm a bit spooked by al,the horror stories I'm hearing about other apps/plugins/hardware with El Capitan's initial rollout.

Once everything settles down and we get at least another point release into it I'll go ahead and give it a try. Since I'm not using it as my primary audio interface, which amusingly enough is an Ensemble 2 (Thunderbolt) and is already green lit by Apogee, I'm assuming it probably won't be an issue.

We are testing El Capitan later today so should have an answer soon.

In the meantime, don't worry about the audio interfaces that you are using with Kyma. The Paca(rana) has its own drivers so your audio interface won't be impacted by a change to the Mac OS (unless of course you also use that interface with other software applications on your Mac in which case, it will be impacted).

Does this mean I can update my 2011 iMac to Mac OS X 10.11 and the latest version of Kyma X for Capybara 320 will be compatible? Thank you for the clarification!!

Kyma 7 is compatible with the most recent Mac and Windows operating systems. (Kyma X hasn't been tested on post 2015 operating systems).

Thanks for your reply SSC. Are there any issues with the latest Kyma X for Capybara 320 and Mac OS X 10.10? Feel free to let me know if I need to start a separate topic for this question, thanks!!

We're not aware of any issues (with X or 7).
