![]() ![]() ![]() i have a file full of my own Sounds that i work from and add to whenever i use kyma... when i make a new Sound and save the whole lot it takes like 2 or 3 minutes... yet the file on my disk is only 1.9 mb. i'm just curious what makes it take so long to save a relatively small file...? ![]() ![]() ![]() Hi Taylor, if you email that Sound file to us we can take a look at what is taking so long. Instead of putting all of your Sounds into one Sound file, you could categorize them and put groups of Sounds into different files based on category. If all of those Sound files are in the same folder, the Sound Browser will display them in a clear and organized way. Individual Sound files were never intended to be larger than a few kilobytes; the intention was that Sound files would serve as categories or collections of related Sounds. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() quote: But if you want to create custom prototypes and open them so they will appear in the prototypes bar, don't they all need to be in the same sound file? My custom prototypes sound file takes awhile to save, but it's not that big a problem, since I don't have to save to it that often, and I always create the sounds somewhere else and then save them again there.
