You could try putting a triggered envelope on the source before it goes into the MemoryWriter. That way the beginning of the recording will always ramp up from zero.

Alternatively, you could use the envelope in the Sample player (or place an envelope on the output of whatever Sound you are using) to ramp up from zero on the output.
