after months of brainache over this, I bring you the simplest way to reset your sequencers in sync with the BPM - paste this into the Gate field , and make a !RESTART button in your VCS

code:

(!RESTART alignWith: (1 bpm: !BPM )) sustainBy: (1 - !RESTART)

I know it seems like an easy one, but without using the mysterious sustainBy: command, I couldn't get a gate to stay on once aligned...
