Do you need a real physical model or just an analog-style subtractive patch? The latter wouldn't be too hard.

Something like this for a tuned hand drum?

OSC 1 Triangle wave 0db 100%
OSC 2 Square wave -15 db @50%
Both OSCs track to !KeyPitch

Filter 12db Cutoff start at 400hz-500hz, tune to taste Envelope @50%
Filter Envelope Attack 0s Decay .15-.2s Sustain 0% Release .15-.25s

Amp Envelope Attack 0s Decay .3-.5s Sustain 0% Release .3-.5s

thank you for your suggestions. I will try to build analog or a real model.I've found a Bongo-Model in the native instruments reaktor library and I will make a kyma version. I hope so.

Cristian,

Do you know what the deal is with this toolkit and a dependency on CAG Asy Release4? I thought that this only worked on Capybara. Are you on a pacarana?

E-TOM_Simple.kym.zip

Here are some 80th styled "analog" E-Toms i use in my Liveset. They sound a bit Simmons/Syncussion like. Boiiinnngggg.

The 3 Toms are mapped to MIDI notes: 53 55 57

all the best

GAC microsounds only work on the Capybara (soooo looking forward to hearing when they might get ported). Harm Visser's (excelent, eye opening) tool kit works on either processor as they are implementations of existing prototypes.

Thx Sean,

I purchased Harm's toolkit and it is indeed eye opening. Already playing with it a lot. There were however some new sounds added that used the GAC stuff, so most of the sounds work but now I'm curious what those new sounds sound like since the commments say that they are an improvement on some of the wind sounds like the brass etc...

Just gone through my PhM Tools folder again, I purchased it about 18 months ago or more and it's been a while since I've looked through it.
Indeed there are CAG sounds within it (Damn!).

SSC,
on previous posts you have mentioned that you were subject to a non-disclosure agreement which restricted the release of the developers kit enabling CAG and others to develop custom miocrosounds for the Paca(rana) platform. From memory that restriction was due to end approx 12 months after the realease of the Paca(rana).
Can we expect this released anytime soon?
regards,
Sean

All of Harm's Sounds work on the Paca(rana) with the exception of the Sounds with the CAG filter. We will ask Christiaan what kind of filter it is so we can recommend how to set the parameters on one of the Kyma filters to replace it.

Hey There

I was wondering if a replacement was developed for the CAG filter?

All the best RaZoR

consider this a "bump" ...

I wanted to see if there is any further progress on this. I have the tool kit, and would be interested in getting those sounds to play.
