![]() ![]() ![]() I am trying to create square waves with specific lengths of pulse width. I think that this tool is the best option. I have read the passage in KymaX about it. I thought I had the concept down, however once I start modifying the values, It ceases to entertain my experimentation. I took a wee 22k jpg of the parameters I had used, but it won't let me upload it. SO.. Duration = total length in s or samp Points : 0 1 1 0 (Start, Full, Full, Stop) Segment Proportions: 0 1 0 ( we have one less of these than the number points!) What am I missing? Many thanks Charlie IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() Hi Charlie, I think it is choking on the 0 as a segment proportion. Maybe if you use something very small in place of zero, for example: Points: 0 0 1 1 0 0 IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() Ohh Nice, curly brackets! Next problem; I can make it 1 s = 1000 ms! Great, 0.1 s gives you 100ms My goal = 10 ms = 0.01 s Just for a bit of context... I am firing the pulses from my daw, I have it all working, but (as the video explains) the length of the pulses is important, i guess I should try to make a sequencer in kyma for it. Many seasonal thanks for your never ending support. Charlie IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() Could you use the PulseTrain Sound in Kyma? Specifying Period as a duration and DutyCycle as a fraction of that duration? Or a triggered FunctionGenerator with live control over the Duration and SmoothedRectangular as the waveshape? [This message has been edited by SSC (edited 21 December 2011).] IP: Logged |
