![]() ![]() ![]() It is always hard when folks ask things that concern your production timeline. We know you guys are busy... With the introduction of so many interfaces (A/D - D/A), and most importantly firewire, those of us who use laptops, and either teach with our rigs, or work on the road, are looking for a compact sound design studio. I am about to invest in "something", either a MOTU 828, the Crest firewire unit, or Metric Halo's unit. I'd rather put my money into my Kyma system. If the ASIO drivers were worked out, and firewire porting worked out, it would be the dream machine for me. I alone would be buying several Capybara expansion cards, and what would be the new firewire input card. I would bet there are quite a few folks out there that would expand there systems, and even more buying new ones. My question is, how fast can this happen? and my support is, this would be very good business for Symbolic Sound. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() The above post probably doesn't need seconding, but I'll do it anyway--quite a few folks indeed! IP: Logged |
