Author | Topic: Question about opening file editor, KXR page 113 |
bluefire Member |
![]() ![]() ![]() a little sheepish to admit it's taken me this long to start working through the examples... on page 113 of KXR it says to Control-click on the disk button to open a file editor, but instead of opening an edit window, it opens a window named "Open: Kyma X" in the window it says... Please locate an application to edit this file: Enable: Application [only choice offered] (menu) in other words, it opens a standard "Open" dialog Shift-clicking on that same disk button works fine, btw, to open an info window. Am I doing something backwards? IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() I had aifs checked in Preferences for editing by an external editor. So now the Control-click works fine for opening the Kyma editor, but I'm still curious why it wouldn't accept Peak as an external editor. At some point I'll go back and try to figure that out. IP: Logged |
