![]() ![]() ![]() Hi, I need to communicate/interact with Kyma through OSC protocol. Everything is going well but ... I am not able to get the widget default (current) value neither to get the widget value any time I want it. The only way I found to get this value is activate the notification and wait for a widget modification. So, I wonder if you think that is possible to add the widget (current) value information in the JSON file received from the "/osc/widget" message ? Rudi IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() Hi Rudi, One solution would be to ask for the current preset values; this gives you all the values at once. To ask for the current preset, you would send this message to the Pacarana: /preset,i with an argument of: 129 (which means: update all widgets to the current preset's values). (see the Controlling the VCS section here: http://www.symbolicsound.com/Learn/OpenSoundControlImplementation). IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() Thank you for your answer, That works with our C++ program but not with max/msp ... It receives an "OSC Unrecognized type tag b. Unable to process message". It seems that Max doesn't understand blob message ... Really it would be great to catch that value in the JSON answer to the /osc/widget, i Thank you. Rudi IP: Logged |
