![]() ![]() ![]() Is there a standard silence value in kyma which is added to the sound when creating a spectrum file? I am asking because I am creating spectrum files of loops and I want to keep exactly those loops also in the spectral domain. What value has to be substracted, or what value has to be entered in the loop end field of the SOS to maintain the original loop? IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() The best thing to do is to analyze a recording of three repetitions of the loop and then use 1/3 and 2/3 as the loop points when resynthesizing. (Alternatively, you can go into the spectrum editor and cut out the first and last repetitions.) Another alternative is to uncheck the Loop parameter in the SumOfSines and trigger or gate the SumOfSines at the repetition rate of the loop. For example, if the name of your spectrum file were 'mySpectrum.spc' you could use: 1 bpm: ('mySpectrum.spc' sampleFileDuration s bpm removeUnits) in the gate or trigger field. IP: Logged |
