Hi theree!

I have no Inet connection at home, so I keep saving a txt file with all my questions and suggestions... so one of these days I'll bomb you with a bunch of them!

meanwhile, I remember a very interesting one...

It would be GREAT you can use ENTER key and CURSOR keys to navigate and select options in floating box messages (Save, cancel, and so on) without the use of mouse.

I have another one: Why a sound closes itself when I press CTRL S?? Imagine I only wanna save changes before compiling it any workaround?

Thanks in advance

yours:
Sam

Navigating between the controls is on our list of enhancements for a future version of Kyma.

Ctrl+S usually does not close the Sound editor. Can you tell us how you opened the Sound editor?

We are trying to replicate this one. It happened as you describe exactly once for us, and every other time it saved without closing the Sound editor. If you notice any additional conditions that may give us a clue to get it to happen every time, we would appreciate it.

Hi,

This happens to me all the time too! (Sound editor closing on Ctl-S or menu Save). It happens almost always after first running the Sound with Ctl-Space. Once it starts running and a VCP appears then any attempt to save the Sound from the Sound Editor closes that editor.

It happens occasionally for me as well, but I haven't got a consistent pattern yet. Most often it seems to happen when I've edited the VCS.

Oh yes, this happens to me every single time I save a sound. Always has, as far as I can remember.
I recently upgraded from OS8.6 to 9.1, and it continued, so it would be strange if it is OS dependant.

I have just found if I open a SoundFile and use CTRL+S when the cursor is in a parameter field (after editing) of a prototype, it saves ok and the parameter view disappears, but the Sound remains open. If after modifying some parameter value I close this view by clicking another prototype or the background of the SoundEditor window and then hit CRTL+S, the sound is saved and closed (after being asked whatever to cancel this save action, save modifications od override them) (just like if I click the X for closing the window (upper mostright button of the frame of the SoundEditor window))

Hope this helps.

Thank you

Sam
