![]() ![]() ![]() Is anyone working with a guitar connected to Kyma. I am using a Godin classic which allows me to send each string to a separate input and am going to go to work on tweaking some Sounds for pitch-to-MIDI (as in Roland GR33) and pitch shift, harmonize, 12 string emulation (as in Roland VG88). Just wondered if anyone has done anything in this line....or would be interested in my results. Jeremy Williams IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() Hi Jeremy: Recognize your name from the Ztar email list. I am too using a Godin guitar, even though I have not connected it to Kyma yet, so I would be interested in what you find. I am waiting for my Ztar to arrive as well... Ztar + Kyma = FUN, me thinks :-) Rgds, Eddy Martinez IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() Definitely, Harvey has promised my ztar is finished and being tweaked for final delivery. I don't want to get rid of my Godin+VG88+GR33...but I would like to se if a fully loaded Kyma can take on the job of the GR33 and the VG88. Of course the first thing you need is the RMC Fanout box and the KYMA with 8 I/O. I have these....now I need to start experimenting with diferent Sounds. I will keep you posted. I was rather hoping someone would want to collaborate. There's a lot of trial and error as pitch to MIDI is part science part art. Jeremy Williams IP: Logged |
