Hi,

I just plugged in my KYMA in a Windows XP machine with a AMDX2 processor. Now KYMA is very unstable with frequent random crashes.

I'm running X 6.35.

SSC? Any ideas?

Hi,

done some testing and whatever I do KYMA remains VERY unstable - changing speaker placement causes a crash every time, a Tay analysis sometimes make it through, and general playback of sounds can sustain for quite a while before crashing.

hehe, well, seems as if I will answer my own support question. Dude, it was the graphics card. Oh, ok, I see. Thanks

The card that made KYMA unstable was based on Nvidias 7800GTX GPU. Now I'm running an old 5900 and it's stable.

I would very much like to be able to run KYMA with the 7800GTX but for the time being I'm just very happy I can run KYMA at all.

Might be worth checking their website to see whether there are any driver updates for the 7800GTX. Most likely it is a problem with their OpenGL driver...

No,

I did that before switching card, didnīt resolve anything. Do you SSC or anyone know an earlier Nivida driver that's stable with KYMA? No older than 6 months...
