I have had multiple crashes and freezes lately, and I have problems troubleshooting it. One error message I get in Kyma is: The Paca is not responding. Other times the Paca will just freeze up, or it will display "It appears the DSP has crashed" on the front of the Paca. I have not had that message before. I have also had Kyma reset its preferences on startup, (once) and setting Audio Interface (Echo Audiofire4) to Silent Device (this has happened 3-4 times in the last couple of weeks). Just now the Paca has frozen on the "Let go and wait for quote..." message. I have had a few crashes and freezes in the past, but lately there has been a lot. I'm hoping it is bad FW cables, but I bought new ones a few months ago which have worked fine up until recently. IP: Logged | |

Thanks for sending the Timeline. The problem has been fixed in Kyma X.84 which is now available for download. Please go to the Help menu in Kyma and select Check for software updates. IP: Logged | |
