Hi SSC,

I recently replaced the PC I run Kyma on and am having some issues on this new machine. It's running Win7 64bit, 4Gb RAM, an Asus P8H61+ motherboard, Intel 2120 CPU and a Gigabyte GT210 silent edition video card. I have two 24" samsung monitors running on this card set up in portrait mode. I am also using a Wacom Intuous 4 6x9 tablet instead of a mouse primarily because of RSI issues caused by mice but also for Kyma. I have a separate question about multiple Wacom tablets but I will post that in another topic.

The problem is:
Kyma runs OK except the Wacom refuses to work on both screens after Kyma launches - I have to use the Display Toggle button to switch from screen to screen and it will not select the mode where the two screens are mapped together over the tablet surface. After I quit Kyma the tablet resumes normal operation operating across two screens.

Also, if I have the Kyma app window extending across two screens, Kyma windows and dialogs appearing across the border between the screens are kind of scrambled - at the border between screens the left hand side of the window displays what should be on the the right hand side of the window and the right hand side of the window .

I have attached a screen dump of the issue.

I have tried swapping the monitors around but the problem perists.

Happy to provide any further info if needed.
Hope you can assist.

best regards,
Sean

I should clarify the Wacom issue - there are three display toggle modes, screen 1, screen 2 and both. The pointer simply stops moving in "both" mode while Kyma is running.

Hmmm just notice Acrobat produces the same issue with windows split across two screens. No issues with the Wacom in acrobat tho

Sean,

Could you please try turning off Graphics Acceleration in the Miscellaneous Preferences to see if the left/right swap goes away?

If that does not work, please try swapping the cables going to your monitors and rearranging the monitors in the Display Control Panel to see if that helps.
