![]() ![]() ![]() Now that I've found the issue, I will remove most of my ramblings, and just explain what I found, and express some confusion. I hadn't used my intuous 5 since first setting it up about a week ago. In the interim, I had set the default midi channel in Kyma to 2. I did not associate the Wacom with the default Kyma midi channel. When I tried using the pen tonight, I couldn't get it to work consistently - usually not at all. I eventually found that the pen status window kept on showing the mappings in channel 2, but the pen seemed to be sending out messages on channel 1....then I remembered the midi channel change, changed it back to 1, and now everything works normally. I'm a little confused by this. Obviously the pen doesn't use midi, so why would changing the default Kyma midi channel cause this awkwardness with the pen? ![]() ![]() ![]() quote: The idea was to allow multiple Wacom tablets. We assume each tablet is on a different channel and we use MIDI channels as the logical channels (even though the Wacom is not literally using MIDI) IP: Logged |
