![]() ![]() ![]() As I re-immerse myself in Kyma, I find questions occuring to me practically every day. I've gotten some great answers, but if anyone is annoyed by these incessant questions, please let me know. As I understand it - timeindexjitter applies to all of the grains. I am currently experimenting with the samplecloud sound... I'm finding that even a very small amount of jitter has a dramatic effect, which can be very good. But is there a way to apply the jitter to just some of the grains? I suppose that one could use multiple sample clouds with the same parameters, and choose jitter for one of them....is there a simpler way? Or different amounts of jitter for some grains, etc? Perhaps the result won't be good, or the question doesn't make much sense. Will experiment more. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() Perhaps it could be interesting to put the SampleCloud into a Replicator. Then you could have TimeIndexJitter depend on ?VoiceNumber to get different amounts of jitter on different grains. The Seed should also depend on ?VoiceNumber so the two (or more) SampleClouds are uncorrelated. IP: Logged |
