Author | Topic: Mathematical expression as master control in timeline? |

![]() ![]() ![]() I'm not quite seeing how to do this, or if it is possible.... I've been messing with employing complex (or increasingly so) mathematical expressions as soundtoglobal controllers, and I'm wondering if these can be built so that they can affect multiple tracks in a timeline? There is obviously (?) no way to directly send control from one track to another, but is it at all possible to set up master controls like this? It seems like you can only set these up as faders in the vcs? IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() If you put the SoundToGlobalController into one of the tracks, then promote its generated control to a master. Go to each parameter in each track that you want to control and slave it to that master. (The master may have to be switched to Live mode, if it is not automatically in that mode). IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() duh....Thanks. And it works just swimmingly. I think that when I tried setting this all up before, I neglected to change the master controller to 'Live'. Got it. [This message has been edited by droolmaster0 (edited 27 January 2013).] IP: Logged |
