Author | Topic: Can I use midi merge? |

![]() ![]() ![]() Hello I have purchased a BCF2000 to work with my Capy320. It needs to use the midi in and midi out on the Capybara. So can I use a midi merge box to merge my "old" midi input (a keyboard) and the new midi input (BCF2000) into the midi input on the Capybara? In fact is this the way to do it? I can't see any other way. Also -will the merged (keyboard and BCF) midi information get jumbled inside the Capybara? I don't have a midi merge box so I cannot test it.(I will purchase one if this is the way to go). Thanks IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() Thanks Chris, that is clear now. I take it the merger will merge my keyboard and the BCF midi streams into one, and then my Capy will distinguish what needs to go where internally i.e. BCF midi to the VCS and midi note info to whatever Sound I'm using? ![]() ![]() ![]() Thanks Chris! And yes, Andrew the continuous controllers and MIDI note events will be distinguished by your Sounds and VCS. IP: Logged |
