Meterosonics, my new instrument for realtime weather sonification is up for testing check out
The project uses realtime weather data (ever 90ms) and JSyn to synthesise the data. The sonification context is the imagine what we might hear if we were able to place our ear against a plant and listen to the photosynthesis happening inside.
The system is expandable, so more weather stations are planned, and people can submit additional stations by sending me the IP address and port number of the station. There is also a protocol for plugin instruments so others can contribute instrument to be added to the .jar. This protocol will be pubished on the site in the next few weeks.
