Author | Topic: Sending CCs via VCS? |

![]() ![]() ![]() Hi I assigned a CC (lets say CC25 on Channel 2) in the VCS EDITOR to a Fader... The Fader moves if i send a CC (from my BCR2000) to the Pacarana. But if i move a fader in the VCS i do not get any output (parameter feedback) from the pacarana!? I tried Hardware MIDI and OSC with PacaMIDI/Osculator I set my preferences for External MIDI Controller to "other" for this test and used a BCR2000. Now i switched back to my usual "Motormix" setting.(and a restart of Kyma/Pacarana of course) I tried the same settings and now if i send a CC from the BCR to Kyma the fader in the VCS still moves but the motormix reacts too... If i move the fader within the VCS the Motormix moves its fader (MIDI Monitor shows that Kyma only sends the Motormix CCs on Channel 1) even if the fader is clearly set to Midi Channel 2 and CC25... My question is: Is it possible to get parameter feedback with another controller via the VCS or do i have to use a "MIDIOutputController" with a corresponding CC/Channel for all of my additional controls? Personally i think it would make sense if the Motormix is used when a Controller is set to VCS and MIDI/OSC feedback is used if it has an assigned MIDI Controller or OSC Message. all the best [This message has been edited by ChristianSchloesser (edited 05 August 2010).] IP: Logged |
