Author | Topic: Why the gap between Kyma MIDI and Continuum |
bar|none Member |
![]() ![]() ![]() Sorry but more questions on the difference between Continuums note event stream and regular MIDI streams. Continuum I see Seems from the videos that Continuum has per note values for both KeyTimbre and Pressure (polyphonic aftertouch) MIDI Right now I wrote an algorithmn to convert the polyphonic aftertouch on Manta to a global smoothed value. Works but obviously would be much nicer to not have to do that. Seems that mapping MIDI Poly Key Pressure (polyphonic aftertouch) to KeyTimbre would really close the gap and would complete the midi mapping properly. Thoughts?
