The zoom in and out keys are Ctrl+left bracket and Ctrl+right bracket. If I remember correctly, the left and right brackets are not directly typeable on the German keyboard, so unless you can program one of your function keys (F1, etc) using a key-macro application, you may be stuck using the menu. (By the way, you can also use following key *sequences*: ALT, e, z to zoom in, and ALT, e, z, z to zoom out.)
