![]() ![]() ![]() Hello SSC et al! A little problem.. Im actually new to using the timeline, and accidentally set off a really long timeline to record to disk... but I cant stop it and its filling up my drive! Is there a proper way to stop a timeline recording to disk once its started? and can we continue to record to disk even during wait untils or is this impossible? IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() If you click (or shift+click) in the status window while recording to disk, it stops the recording. Yes, the recording continues through WaitUntils, but you might have to put a dummy track in your Timeline with a silent Sound that lasts longer than you'll want to play (just to trick the Timeline into thinking its duration is long enough). ![]() ![]() ![]() thanks! I decided to begin composing properly in the timeline, after seeing JPJ in action at the symposium, and everybody else all up to speed with it! I will try not to end up with those huge sprawling webs of sounds in a single sound, and keep things in order on the timeline. IP: Logged |
