Hello,

I've noticed this issue many times: if I open a clock tool ( Tools-->Clock ) then Kyma stops to work and freezes. I cannot escape from this tool, can't do anything in Kyma, the only option is to hard-reset Kyma. What can I do, any Ideas ?

Thanks,
Roman

Hi Roman,

Could you please tell us which version of Kyma (from lower left corner of Preferences window in Kyma) and which operating system you are using?

Thanks!

Dear SSC,

I use Kyma 6.77f2 (also tested on previous version) on Intel Mac OSX 10.5.8

Could you please describe step-by-step the way you get this problem to occur? (We have been trying it here and have been unable to replicate the problem). Thanks!

1: I go to Tools menu--> Clock. ( or Command+9 )
2: The Clock Tool pops up, is completly gray ( I see no items )
3: A little black clock icon turns around all the time ( and never stops )
4: Nothing happens, I waited 10 minutes or so
5: I cannot escape from this Tool again, and cannot quit Kyma
6: The only way to quit this is a shortcut ( Command+Alt+Escape ) to hard reset Kyma Application

And then I hope not to hit by accident the Cmd+9 shortcut again...

Hope this helps,
Roman

Hi Roman,

Do you have an unusually large number of fonts installed on this computer?

I will uninstall most of them today, and will report back.

Many thanks for quick diagnosis !

Well, I think that was the problem.
I removed many of the fonts, and I finally see the clock-tool !!!

Many thanks for great support, SSC !
