![]() ![]() ![]() By talking directly to the Capybara driver from your own C or C++ program, you can update parameters at faster than MIDI rate. (This is the technique that Lippold Haken uses to send 3-d data streams to Kyma from each of 10 finger trackers for the Continuum Fingerboard). What is the source and format of your control data? ![]() ![]() ![]() me and my collegues are working with a ring of computers connected via LAN and sharing data for max/msp/nato (and hopefully kyma) patches and interface programms which output ot/udp packages. i remembered that there should be a possibility to share data between max and kyma.but canīt remember how.... thanx IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() We had a MAX object for talking to the Capybara written for the Opcode version of MAX but we never updated it for MSP. If you like, we can give you the source code if you would like to make it work (we don't have time to do it ourselves right now because of other programming projects). IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() Hi SSC! Can you provide a table of the parameters and the types needed for talking to the Capy from C? It doesn't need to be elegant. Cheers, - DM IP: Logged |
