![]() ![]() ![]() how to synchornize 2 (or more) sequenzers. apperently if they have the same !BPM, they run out of sync... so i guess i have to trigger them via "gate" ? thx. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() Is it the exact same !BPM (or bpm expression) in both places? That is one way to ensure synch. Another way is, as you point out, to re-gate your sequencers at the start of each bar. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() ok. just to clarify my understanding of time in kyma: as soon as the sounds are compiled kyma starts all triggering events (like bpm, ..) simultaneously. and there should occur no phase shifting.... right? IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() Yes, that's right. However, if you are not using the same expressions everywhere to create the BPM, numerical errors can accumulate and cause a gradual drift of the beat. For example, using (1 bpm: !BPM * 2) triggerEvery: 2 and 1 bpm: !BPM will drift for certain BPMs (because the duration of a beat cannot be represented with infinite precision). IP: Logged |
