Hello,

I´ve got a little problem, the Timeline won´t sync to Cubase´s MTC. Absolutely nothing happens. When I send Midiclock instead, the cursor jumps a little bit forward every time Cubase loops back and start a part over again. What might I do wrong?

In the timeline, have you set the Timing Source to be Time Code? Also, did you hit the space bar (or the Play button) in the timeline to start the timeline playing? (The time cursor will not move until time code is received by the Capybara.)

Another thing would be that you may need to set the timecode offset (from the pop up menu under the Time Code button) so that the first time in the timeline corresponds with the first time in your sequencer.

Aah, the offset did the trick. Thanks! Is there a way to enter offset in the timeline?

Hi,

I've been trying to slave the timeline to Cubase (PC/Win ME), but in the scroll down menu for the time control source, the option "MIDI timing clock" does not appear as stated on the manual (only options "Free running" and "Time code: MIDI or SMPTE" are there). I also tried to scroll down with the mouse-pointer, but "nothing ever appears". Is there a hidden trick I don't know of in order to enable the missing option?

You can enter the time code offset in the timeline from the bottom of the "Time Code" pop up menu (the one that lets you choose between Bars and Beats and Time Code).

======

The MIDI Timing Clock option has not yet been completed , so we have temporarily removed it from the options.

Hmmmm... I just did all the above, but the timeline stops immediately after I press play. What could be going wrong?

Are you using time code as the source? If so, please check that time code is being received by the Capybara. (You can do this by checking the upper right corner of the DSP Status window which shows what time the Capybara has received via any one of its time code inputs.)
