![]() ![]() ![]() Hi, I'm using a MIDIVoice prototype to add polyphony to a TauPlayer. I'm also using some GraphicalEnvelopes feeding SoundToGlobalControllers to control some of the TauPlayer functions. The MIDIVoice prototype is 'stealing' !KeyDowns away from the the GraphicalEnvelopes/SoundToGlobalControllers, so if the polyphony is set so 6 for example, the first !KeyDown goes to the GraphicalEnvelopes/SoundToGlobalControllers, then the next 6 go to the TauPlayer, and so on. How can I solve this so that all the !Keydowns go to the GraphicalEnvelopes as well as to the TauPlayer? Thanks! IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() If you move the GraphicalEnvelopes into the MIDIVoice (by adding them in a Mixer to your TauPlayer) then all key events will go to the Graphical Envelopes as well as to the TauPlayer. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() I'd already tried adding the encelopes to the left of the MIDIVoice, but then the SoundToGlobal controllers stopped working. I'll give it another go tomorrow following your suggestion..will report back ![]() Thanks! IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() Could you paste the envelopes directly into the parameter fields where they are used? (Instead of using SoundToGlobalControllers?) IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() I like the visual feedback the global controllers give, but that should be fine… Thanks ![]() IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() Hi, this worked fine - but I'm still wondering if there's any way to use the SoundToGlobalControllers and MidiVoice at the same time? They seem to steal MIDI notes away from each other, can this be worked around? If not then I can paste directly into fields as discussed previously, but I really like using the GlobalControllers to see what's happening with the code ![]() Cheers, IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() You don't say what your STGC is generating but let's say it is called !EnvPt1. Change that to !EnvPt1 suffix: ?VoiceNumber and paste it into the field where you are using it. Make sure Silent is not checked in the STGC. IP: Logged |
