![]() ![]() ![]() Hi I have already emailed SSC about this but I would still like some user feedback on in. I just got this interface for the Pacarana and for the life of me I can't make Kyma see it. I previously installed it on my Mac but right after I removed all the files like Focusrite suggests. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() Have you made any progression? The reason I'm asking is I want to get rid of my MOTU Traveler and get a Saffire Pro 40. Before I order it would be nice to know if this is a general problem or only concerning your Saffire... IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() Recently I bought the Saffire Pro 40. Out of the Box it worked fine with Kyma. However you need to install the drivers once unless you want to have the inputs routed to the monitor outputs directly. After removing all the files as recommended here http://us.focusrite.com/answerbase/how-do-i-remove-saffire-mixcontrol-from-my-mac I experienced the same problem: Kyma will not recognoze the interface. The problem isn't Kyma it is Focusrite. The uninstall instructions don't remove the drivers totally. I can still select the Saffire on my mac. I think you have to contact Focusrite about this. ![]() ![]() ![]() SOLVED. I had the one to last firmware for because last time I updated the Pacarana got fried Kurt told me the support was introduced just lately, so updating the firmware solved the issue! Thanks again Kurt! [This message has been edited by TazioSchiesari (edited 03 February 2015).] IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() Hi Tazio, How did you uninstall the drivers? I followed the instructions in the link I've posted but the Saffire was still showing at my interfaces and Kyma couldn't connect. I don't want to backup and restore everytime I make a change in the configuration.. Thanks! edit: Solved! I forgot to remove the extensions file...
