This is a class compliant audio interface- but I cannot get Kyma to see it? Should it work or am I missing something. It would be most handy as it is great for just plugging in ad trying things out. Hope you can help IP: Logged |

In theory, this one ought to work. Did you try selecting "Rescan" from the Control drop-down in DSP Status window? IP: Logged |

It works when plugged in the back of the Pacarana! Another one for your list sounds great and is very portable. Many thanks Simon IP: Logged |

SSC you may wish to amend the title of the post. I just tried the RME Babyface in class compliant mode (for use with iPad) and it shows up as a midi interface, but sadly not as an audio interface. Even after rescan in both computer and Pacarana. Shame it would have been very useful!! Just for your records. Best. S IP: Logged |

Hi Simon, Did you try the CEntrance DACport? USB class compliant stereo interfaces should work with the Pacarana. For more than 2 channels, we recommend a FireWire interface instead. Thanks! IP: Logged |

Just to let you know that the Sound Devices USB Pre2 used to show up immediately and has not for a bit - I tried the Rescan trick today and now I see it again - just thought I would share as I had thought that support must have changed and I love the sound from the USB Pre2. Cheers, Garth IP: Logged |

The DACport looks great! I wonder if the AxePort or MicPort would work, as well. They add a line input for guitar/bass and mic, respectively. Do these fall under the criteria of 'should work' if they are USB class compliant and handle 1 in/2 out? IP: Logged |

Garth, have you tried the USBPre2 at 96 kHz with the Paca(rana)? Or use it with the TOSLINK I/O at all? Thanks! IP: Logged |

quote: Unfortunately the USBPre2 works only at 48 kHz: Paca(rana) supports only 44 and 48 kHz with USB interfaces. IP: Logged |
