![]() ![]() ![]() Hi all, well this is a question for those cleverer people than I who can get kyma to do what they intend rather than changing variables until something weird eminates from the speakers...... last night I was playing with the live freezeframe on keydown patch, a generic source loops a wav file and then midi keys freeze the wav and timestretch it. I came across the problem of how do I set a kyma patch to respond to different key downs in different ways. What I would like to achieve is triggering the generic source with a specific keydown and then use another keydown to trigger the freezeframe. i'm sure there is an easy way to do it, I just cant see how.... thanks for the help Dave IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() You could use the pitch of the key to differentiate between them. For example !KeyDown gateWhen: (!KeyNumber eq: 60) would trigger on a keydown on middle C only. IP: Logged |
